Machine Tool Solutions Unlimited (MTSU) is a results oriented company dedicated to providing a wide range of service(s) and support to our customers in a technologically driven market.  Our company is a complete provider of machine tool rebuilding, control retrofits and repair services to manufacturing companies, primarily located in the Midwestern, Southern and Southeastern United States. MTSU also provides highly skilled technicians to perform on site support including; but not limited to: Complete/partial rebuild, mechanical, electrical, geometrical, calibration and preventive maintenance services.  It is our mission to utilize our talents and skills to ensure that our customer’s are able to competitively compete in a global market.  

Primary Goal

It is MTSU’s primary goal to be a preferred vendor and provider of complete machine tool services to the metal cutting industry.  Our goals will be achieved by:

• Complete remanufacture, rebuild and retrofitting to existing equipment.
• Locate & supply replacement machine tools including: new, used, rebuilt or retrofitted through our strategic network of Representatives and Distributors.
• Provide complete on-site service, analysis and repair of metal cutting equipment.
• Research and develop new technology to improve or upgrade machinery and controls.
• Consistently provide a quality product in a timely fashion by executing the principles of 5S and establishing an environment that promotes continuous improvement through accountability.

Business Definition

Customers:  MTSU services and supports customers of all sizes, from small job shops to large international corporations with the following services:

REBUILDS/RETROFITS- this group primarily focuses on the larger projects that will consist of a complete or partial rebuild or control retrofit of a customer’s existing machine.  This service may be performed at our customer’s facility or at our facility located in Cincinnati Ohio.

NEW MARKET- this group is aimed at providing newer technology to our customers, through new style controllers and new machines.  This group also handles the small projects such as tool room equipment, rotary tables and small modifications to newer machines.  We have built a diverse Representation network to offer a variety of new machine options.

USED/CUSTOM MACHINES- this group is dedicated to supporting our customer’s metal cutting needs with used machinery.  We have access to a number of respected dealers throughout the United States.  Additionally, we are able to provide custom designed machines and motion systems for special applications.

SERVICE- this is the field service arm of MTSU.  This group provides on-site service and support to: analyze, repair, calibrate and/or update our customer’s metal cutting equipment.  These services include but are not limited to:

Control service and troubleshooting

Preventative maintenance

Machine analysis & calibration

Sheet metal covers & enclosures           

Ball screw rebuilding, reconditioning & service

Component rebuilds (Gear boxes, transmissions and spindles)
